Job Description
Brightpath Digital Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Front-End Developer to join our growing product engineering team. In this role, you will lead the development of responsive, high-performance web interfaces, collaborate closely with designers and back-end engineers, and help shape our front-end architecture as we scale. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented developer who enjoys solving complex UI challenges and mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable, responsive web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React preferred)
- Translate UI/UX design wireframes into clean, efficient, and reusable code
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and back-end developers to deliver high-quality features on schedule
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to front-end best practices and documentation
- Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and recommend improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional front-end development experience
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with React, Vue, or Angular (React strongly preferred)
- Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, or similar)
- Solid understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility (WCAG) standards
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
Preferred (not required):
- Experience with Next.js or similar SSR frameworks
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team

Salary
$95,000 – $120,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
